My Cal Poly Research Information and Training
Welcome to My Cal Poly Research - Cal Poly's new electronic research administration platform! We look forward to guiding you on how to use this new electronic research system and providing a smooth and successful submission process.
It is recommended that individuals who will be submitting proposals (Principal Investigators) attend one of each of the following sessions:
- Proposal Initiation Form (PIF) submission training (attend this first)
- Tasks training (attend this after PIF training)
It is recommended that individuals who are approving proposals (Chairs, Deans, PIs) attend:
- Approver training

Documentation and videos for the above topics can also be found here (however, it is strongly encouraged to attend a zoom-based training, first).
Space per class is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If needed, you will be re-assigned to an alternative time.
Additional training dates will be published on an ongoing basis.
